We are looking for an exceptional Senior Data Analyst to join our Data Services team. The individual in this role will work closely with business teams and CNB clients for data & analytics requirements. You will become an analytical subject matter expert in your assigned area of responsibility, utilize modern tools for data gathering, create informative reports & dashboards, and share insights with business teams and clients to enable data driven decision making. You will proactively identify improvement opportunities using data; opportunities that will deliver substantial value for CNB and our clients.
Responsibilities:
● Build and support data & analytics products / solutions within data platform
● Serve the assigned area of responsibility including but not limited to analytics for
marketing, operations, call center, and sales
● Write SQLs for pulling data from data warehouse, and usage in reports and dashboards, or
analysis using spreadsheets
● Work with data engineers to ingest new data sources into the data platform
● Create reports and dashboards in Tableau using rapid prototyping, and iterative
development
● Define and maintain business metrics, KPIs, and calculations, as well as documentation
regarding the same
● Build, test and deploy transformation logic within data warehouse using DBT
● Provide inputs for best practices and standards for data modeling, DBT and Tableau
● Review code of peers, and highlight deviations from best practices and standards
● Conduct demos to showcase the created solution for problem at hand
● Provide day to day production support, and on call as needed
● BI Reviews with clients on a regular cadence
● Prepare monthly and/or quarterly reporting package(s) for clients
● Review the reports with clients, highlight performance of the campaigns, share
not-so-obvious insights, and recommend actions to bring improvements
● Address any follow up reporting needs from the clients
● Analyze data and identify opportunities
● Utilize statistical techniques to analyze key datasets, identify patterns, and share any
recommendations with stakeholders
● Identify metrics that currently are not looked at but seem important based on analysis
● Review client’s budget performance and proactively identify trends that could indicate
potential churn, then recommend actions to take
● Shadow business teams to understand process, and identify opportunities to streamline
utilizing data & analytics Minimum
Qualifications:
● 5+ years of experience in a client/business facing analytics role
● 10+ years of experience creating SQLs and managing large datasets inside cloud based databases (examples: Snowflake, or Redshift)
● 5+ years of experience building reports and dashboards in Tableau (preferred) or other visualization tools
● Strong analytical, and communication skills (both verbal and written)
● Highly accountable self-starter and a team player
● Able to manage multiple work streams with minimal guidance while paying strict attention to detail and producing quality code
Bonus Qualifications:
● Experience with DBT
● Knowledge of Python, Segment, Google Analytics, Salesforce and other MarTech
platforms
● Knowledge of ETL and ELT
● Experience with marketing, advertisement, and lead data
