Marketing Technology Engineer

Career Now is seeking a Marketing Technology Engineer (MarTech Engineer) that is ready to take their career to the next level! The MarTech Engineer is a ‘cradle to grave’ digital marketing engineer that focuses on delivering engaging B2C (and potentially B2B) customer experiences via a wide range of tools including marketing hubs, data analysis tools, email providers, SMS providers, API etc.. You will work side-by-side with our business partners and join the Technology Team writing code for our next generation solutions in multiple languages: PHP and JavaScript.

What you will do:

• Design, configure and manage campaign execution using a variety of tools, marketing hubs and cloud-based deployment tools (email tools, SMS tools)
• Subject matter experience in marketing best practices and compliance
• Design/Code/Troubleshoot automated data load solutions (ETL)
• Define, document and review technical requirements.
• Conduct Code and Design Reviews
• Participate in Architecture
• Consistently implement and deliver production quality code every 2 weeks
• Assist with future release planning and some data analysis.
• Automate day-to-day administrative functions of our marketing hubs and deployment tools
• Effectively communicate plans, progress and status to both internal technology teams and business stakeholders

• 3+ years of hands-on coding experience (PHP, JavaScript).
• 3+ years SQL experience (data relationships and various database structures)
• BA/BS or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of SaaS, API (JSON), REST, Web Service concepts.
• Agile Development experience (SCRUM, SAFE, Kanban).
• Jira & Confluence experience.

• SQL/TSQL/variant
• Web API / JSON / REST / XML
• CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce)
